Around The World...The Old Shot Clean Out Part 1

Postby Triple_7 » Fri Aug 03, 2007 12:00 am

Been quite awhile since I've posted in this forum.  As some of you might remember I started a quest back in April to visit every country possible.  Then came late May when my computer had a meltdown putting me on this ancient IBM since.  Before the meltdown I was in the process of backing up everything onto DVD's so I could bleach the hard drive.  Had everything backed up and was in the middle of one last flight before the bleaching when the meltdown occurred.  So I've been sitting at London Heathrow since.

I left off at Charles De Gaulle.  Tired of Europe I headed for Bogota, Colombia.  Loaded up the dirty bird and headed out.

May 7, 2007...Waiting for takeoff.

Bye bye Paris.  Just so these hairdryers make it :P

Steep decent into Bogota.

May 8, 2007...From Bogota I headed for Madrid on a much cleaner A340.  Climbing hard after a LONG takeoff run.

Overflying the airport, one long flight ahead.

Part 2...final shots...to follow.

WOW! That Air France 340 looks very nice. Which model and repaint is that?

Never mind ... I think I found it here.
It is not the exact same aircraft (F-GLZR instead of F-GLZA) but it comes very close ;)
