Casey Kasem was the voice of Mark the lead character and voiced Shaggy from scooby doo and some of the transformers .

I belive the show was called "Battle of the Planets" here in the States and the ship was called the Phoenix because they had that mode where it could turn into a fire bird?  And each of the crew had their own little vehicles that were held in various spots on the ship....a race car in the back, a motor cycle for the Princess girl, a submarine car thing for the jerky stuttery little guy...oh what the heck, can't remember all of it.  ;D
