Do you wake with a start, bathed in cold sweat, in the middle of the night?
(unless its a short runway with tall trees at the end
)Nice shots, the plane so odd looking when the gears up, Cessna's are mostly fixed gear(unless its a short runway with tall trees at the end
)

P.S. What happened in #4? :-?![]()

...!Its amazing just how slippery an aeroplane becomes when its wheels are raised out of the air stream..!
As an example:
Compare the speed of a Cessna 182S fixed undercarriage, with it's Sister, the 182RG with it's retractable undercarriage. The difference is remarkable.. ...!
The danger:
Never forget to lower them before landing!
Paul... ...!
Note the clever/complicated way the wheels retract into the fuselage!...(The same as the Cessna 337 push-pull props version).......!
The emergency pump got them down and locked.. but the AP guy told me I was one drop of hydraulic fluid away from having to land with the gear "semi extended".

Umm....
I was practising emergancies in the circuit!

Looks good !
Would you like a copy of the PSP layered file ?
I'm gettin' there, Fozz.. I'm still afraid to look at a Gmax screen (I see them in my sleep)
Deepest condolences... that can't be pleasant.
