You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I think though it actualy makes them look more realistic. Like on the bus but to each his own. 8-)

I agree. They look like kids toys. WAY too shiny. I prefer a plane to look like it's been used. ( rivet marks around the panels that make the bodywork, exhaust fume marks, oil leak marks...etc ).

Mirror mirror on the wall  ;D....

That's why I posted a little warning in the installation program for users to backup that one scenery texture in case they don't like it. The texture was meant to be used with ground vehicles anyways.

Nice model Greg but whoo ...  8-)  shiny. Too much if you ask me, but you didn't did you?

I realy like the extra shine it puts on the models. Of course if you look at my past model youll see that Im into the chrome look. 8-) The detailed or the look that shows the aircrafts use is nice to. When I build a new model I like them to look brand new and shiny. I leave the details to the texture experts who if they like the model enough can repaint. Besides by the time I get done wrestling a model through Gmax Ive usualy had enough if you know what I mean.
I did also back up the textures when I installed them.
Also after recently upgrading my pc It has realy improved the looks of my Sim only adding to my reflective fetish. 8-)
