Pure elegance...

I had to share these screens of today's first leg of today's three-leg hop from London via Paris and Milan Linate, to Venice. I'm using my favourite plane of the moment, Erick Cantu's excellent 737-200 (with the equally excellent TinMouse II panel) in British Airways' trial silver-top livery on G-BKYA, the only BA passenger jet painted like this in the mid-1970s. IMHO the best livery I've seen for this terrific model.

Personally, I've always liked BA's Landor livery best.

But this one's not bad either.

Certainly the earlier ones did - here's a pic from airliners.net that shows the cable.

I like BA's most recent livery the best myself - it looks more modern than their two previous liverys.

The shots are very nice, I can see a couple of problems with compression in one or two of these captures, but they're miniscule and insignificant.

The last one is my fav. :D
