Postby ATI_7500 » Thu Jul 19, 2007 12:38 pm

Finally checked her out myself.

Cons:
- Blurry VC panel (No suitable texture,eh?)
- Missing pilot (Consult Alrot!!)

Pros:
+ Excellent exterior
+ Even though being default, the ound is just suitable
+ Flight model and perfromance (Zipping along easily at 130 KIAS/3500AGL).

LOL  .. I just can't model pilots  :-[

That's why I said: Consult Alrot. ;)

I tried many panel textures..  photo-sharp kinda clashed, what I came up with is just a personal compromise...

If I wasn't such a lazy git I would try and paint it by hand.

Modeling and texturing by the Gmax/FSX/SDK, for a purely FSX model is a chore..

Quite motivating.

I once was seconds away from diving into 3DS Max, but it's like standing in front of a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge bookshelf and not knowing what to read despite having the urge - or something like that.

not sure about the shots though Bjorn  ::)

Never tried to please with those.

Just proving that I've examinated the model. :D

HEY ,  ALROT.....  I need a pilot ;D

It is a huge commitment (I don't advise it for family men   ::)   )..

My motivation was that the real plane (did you guys look in the doc folder ? ) was sold out of our club, and that I couldn't abide the idea of never flying N177MJ again.. that got me through the times when I was ready to quit (there were many)   8-)

You had your motivation fueled by memories of the real thing...I couldn't do that since I've never flown on a Do-328 before. :P

Like your angels. Alrot's Co-pilots are ###  8-) ;D.

Won't be a FS9 version available, will there?
