Well, anyway..there's a British Science Fiction show called 'Doctor Who' and there featured a working CGI model of one of these which can be seen 3 minutes into this ( the season finale ), and most of the action takes place onboard.  You can see it here...3 minutes in....

Someone should make some AI traffic with those plateforms so that they start moving around, instead of being fixed like that.
