Posted: Tue Jul 10, 2007 10:17 pmThese days, I rarely fly outside of Russia, but today I decided to do a little flying over Kazakhstan. So, I loaded up my trusty Cessna 150 (dressed in appropriate Kazakh livery), and took off for a flight over the Almaty area, starting from Almaty International Airport (UAAA).
As we began taxiing to the runway, we spotted this lovely Air Astana A320 getting ready to depart.
While waiting for clearance from the tower, we watched as the 320 gracefully took to the skies.
After they left, it was our turn.
As we began our journey, I decided to crack a window to let in a little of that cool afternoon breeze.
