I think there is a demo. I beta tested this to the day the testing ended and Atari shut down the servers. They are having a lot of problems with connectivity but a patch is expected in mid-June.

TDU became boring after a while, because the world looks too sterile (too little details, no pedestrians, only generic road traffic, no rain and night...).
