Oh please. It's almost as ugly as a Sea Fury with that superelevated cockpit.

I like the Bearcat.... a bit ugly, but sometimes ugly can be good :)

I think the Bearcat looks better than the Hellcat but in the end, our guys flew 'em to shoot down really ugly airplanes-- ones with Luftwaffe crosses and Rising Suns on them. I thank them for their service...

I wouldn't call the Bearcat or Sea Fury ugly but then, some people have some very odd ideas of beauty.
I think the Bearcat looks better than the Hellcat but in the end, our guys flew 'em to shoot down really ugly airplanes-- ones with Luftwaffe crosses and Rising Suns on them.
Both the Bearcat & Sea Fury were too late to see active service in WWII.
