I think I got rid of most of the horrible 'zig-zag' pattern from my last post. Check it out:

Is it me, or is one of the best looking detail on a FS9 plane??!! :-?

No no, you're right ! I have transfered this plane to my FSX as well, and it looks fantastic !!
It's like the default FS9 Cub, or the Jenny. Their textures and details are just great. The Cub (and the DC-3 as well) has been upgraded into FSX, but the Jenny was worth an import, just like the tri-motor ;)

Spot on! You are right about those others. In fact I notice that I prefer to look at the texture and detail in many of those older planes. I thiink they inherently have more to look at, what without the perfectly smooth skin of today's modern aircraft!

It's far from be only you. The Ford Trimotor is probably the only default plane in FS9 that really is worth saving (the DC3 too, but its default dynamics are pitiful at best, it becomes much better after installing the ones from the DC3 Hangar).

Actually, seen the poor job on the DC3 dynamics, I can't but ask myself how much are worth the ones of the Trimotor. After all, I really doubt they found a Trimotor to make a stroll on to get the feelings of its behavior, when they didn't even bother test the behavior of a much more common DC3. :-?
