They did it again...

Posky did it again, they released another beauty ;D.

Yesterday's release was the V4 747-100/200. Very beautiful model, a bit hard on the frames on my old Pc, but it runs.

The plane was very heavy and the runway was very short, so my tail made a touchdown ::).

Have a great weekend,

Fabian

It was a statement from Posky to post the next 747 series with a VC, did they fulfil it ?

Great set.  Is it FSX compatible?

Yep FSX compatible, no VC at this stage I guess. I think they'll handle it like they did with the 737NG.

Sadly, the 737NG series still doesn't have VCs...:/

How's the realism?

Damn looks like there is no KC-19 in the pipeline... unless that comes later of course (no freighters released yet)

Sorry, KC-What? Is that the tankerversion?

A detailed shuttlecarrier would be cool IMO...,

Cheers,
Fabian

KC-19 was the project name for the 4 ex TWA machines that were converted to tankers in a bid for a new tanker aircraft with the DC-10 as the other competitor. You know which one won... The converted 747s eventually ended up with SAHA (Iranian Air Force) and are still flying with the refuelling kit installed

Thanks Ivan, didn't know that. Cool, somehow a google didn't bring anything so I just asked.

.....runway was very short and my 747 was very heavy, so I needed to pull back very hardly and so my tail made a touchdown on the runway....

Courious when their VC model will arrive...,

Greetings,
Fabian

Could've selected another runway on another airport, or taken off with less weight, you know. ;)

Being I not really a VC lover, I'd like a good freeware -100 -200 -300 panel instead, with all main flight systems working in a reasonably real-life like fashion, instead of the adapted -400 the 742sp came with (this plane here I've yet to try out, will wait until it'll have either a JAL or AZA repaints to fly it). :D

How are the dynamics by the way? Any better than the usual non brilliant POSKY ones?

Seeing the way POSKY treated VC lovers lately, I'd say we'll never get a VC for this one.
