Kuwait, & One Ill Fated Flight To Dubai
After my 251st flight with the FTG put me in Kuwait I decided to fly around the Middle East or awhile. Logical place to begin hopping was to and from Dubai. Unfortunatly I seem to have a little problem with my Dubai at the moment which is begining to ruin my Middle Eastern plans
Explained HERE (Help Me)
Did a little spotting at KWI and managed to catch this rather rare beauty...Kuwait Airways 747-400...Gear going up after a very long, heavy takeoff.

Then later on came the ill fated flight to Dubai. Emirates flight 856 waiting for takeoff clearence for 15L.

Aimed for the Persian Gulf while making a rather slow climb for no heavier then we are.

FL330 off the Qatar coast.

Finals for Dubai runway 30R with a 15 knot crosswind.

Slowing down after an almost to perfect landing. Even with the strong wind we had an incredibly soft, smokeless touchdown right on the center line and right on the marks.

But then came the unexpected. Turned onto the taxiway and...bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, crunch. Nose gear collapsed, apparently all of my taxiways at DXB have the physical properties of dirt. So that put a rather abrupt end to a rare perfect flight
Having just flown into DXB a month or so ago without a problem I really dont know what happened
