So, I was in Tacoma Washington on business last week and I decided to take a detour and run by one of the small airfields in the southern side and by chance came across a C-119.

Upon closer inspection I realized it was an ex Military AC-119 of some sort.

I found the pilot in the Pilot's Lounge and asked if I could have a closer look, He took me out ont he ramp and let me check it out.

Evidentally, this aircraft is the retired 'Midnight Free Flight' 71-584.  Now under regs 238CE.  She landed here with no. 1 engine failure and is parked on the outer most ramp awaiting a new Pratt & Whittney engine to get her flying again.

He even let me climb up inside her too.

Here is a shot of her former Vietnam glory

Hope you like the story... really this is my newest repaint for Daisuke Yamamoto's C-119, Enjoy the shots, story and paint!
