Sweet mother of God! That is very very nice!
How do you get shots like this considering that (if you don't mind me saying this) you're a new member.

The only think I miss are some nice clouds ... but that's just me.

Either the average level of screenies here is increasing, or the Moore law is getting more and more into effect as years pass...

E6600 Core 2 duo
2 gigs OCZ mem
320 gig SATA drive
EVGA 8800GTS GPU
Dell 24 wide screen

I have set up 2 different configs; one for everyday flying and another for screens.  For everyday flying I get about 20 FPS in populated areas and up into the 40s in rural or in high altitude situations.  In NYC over Manhattan I only get about 16. For screeshots I don't even look at the FPS cause performance isn't my goal.  It is definitely less than everyday flying but not so jerky as to be unflyable.  I have tweaked my configuration by starting with miltestpilot's recommendations and adjusted some from there.  One thing I did do that defys logic, to me anyway, is set my max frame rate to unlimited.  I noticed an immediate jump up of about 5%-10% on the lower and higher end and everything seemed smoother as well.  I still get an occasional stutter but I think that is related to the combination of the fiber frame rate and buffer pools settings.  This particular setting goes against Miltests recommendation of setting max frames to 22.
