Bad weather

The weather was awful here, so I found the time to download some aircraft and see what the weather was like according to FS9.
What I found was the Dassault SMB2 Super Mystere, which took me back years and years to the time when I couldn't wait for next week's episode of the adventures of Tanguy and Laverdure (anybody know what I am talking about?). It even came with the right paintscheme! So I had the most wonderful flight, and february in FS was nice and white, not wet and miserable. I hope you enjoy them too!

..eehh, where am I? It's all cloudy below.
Image
Let's go below the clouds..
Image
mmm, conditions are not getting better...
Image
and now fog too, where's the airfield?
Image
aha, I recognise that watertower, left here!
Image
and there we are, just in time for dinner!

I hope you like them, comments will be appreciated.

Apparently not many people know the adventures of Tanguy & Laverdure, it was a comic book series that ran in France, Belgium and the Netherlands during the 60's and 70's, following two French Airforce pilots through training in Fouga's and T-33's, onto Mysteres and finally Mirages. The first, and best stories were drawn by Albert Uderzo, of Asterix fame.
Here's teh cover of the Mystere episode, with an image and my recreation of it. I also throw in a few more Mystere pics, you can find it at fsfrance.com. It comes with a staggering amount of paintjobs, and lots of different equipments. It has no vc, and the 2D cockpit is only so-so, but the sound is brilliant, I am going to use that in a lot of other jets I think.

Anyway, give the bird a try, you'll love the sound, I'm sure of that!
And here are the pics:

did I mention the wonderful afterburner effect? Doesn't really work in a pic, see it moving is better.

And thank you for your comments, Harold. I didn't do all that much, I just reinstalled my entire computer after a fatal crash, paying attention to remarks found here, there, and from you. Just getting rid of the AA, and a higher resolution help a lot.
