Postby cloud9 » Mon Feb 26, 2007 9:05 pm

Well here's another one. This plane was designed by locke. When it was introduced, there were a lot of beta testers, including myself, and then it dissapeared...??? :o :o THe M-505 Junglecat!!!

Would be nice if it worked in FSX...

Other than that, a stunning aircraft with nice innovations (The HUD! The HUD!).

Could need a civil version and tons of repaints.

Good shots with a 'different' plane.

Nice pics! Well, I've just recently posted several edits with the back end of Locke's Junglecat so there's one who hasn't forgotten

Well it wasn't by skunkworks. It was made up by Locke. Thanks all ;)

Ahhhhhh . . .

Great to see my bird in action.  I've been longing for a few shots of her, since I don't have a comp of my own anymore.

I can't claim credit for an entirely original design.

The first rendition of this aircraft was created by Ken Cozine, who has since retired from FS and design.  It was originally the M-1000, which is a very intersting craft to fly.  Mine is simply a graft of his.

I now she looks a little clunky and klumsy, but give it a go, and you'll see how agile she really is.  The flight dynamics, as far as the wing structure and components, are as real as I could make them.  I had to fudge the takeoff dynamics since FS STILL can't handle VTOL, but it really does fly like a dream.

And (if I may so so myself ;)) the HUD is a work of many hours of genius by many people.  Gadgets and features abound!

And, if I have a comp in the next few months, I will create an FSX version very soon!
