Hey everybody! Earlier today I uploaded an upgraded version of the cfs2 Yak-9, (along with a custom texture that i made for me for airshows) heres a preview of the custom texture. compression killed the shots with a blunt object though,  :P

Ok I know that for some the crow on the side of the plane is a bit much but it's my personal airshow texture and that's my nose, er, side art!

Compression DEMOLISHED those shots, mate.  :-?

If you like Yaks so much, you'd be better getting a hold of IL2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles. Brilliant game.

who cares about compression when youve got shots like these, its all about the skill, nice manouveres

Thanks for the comments, conviniently, I like the Sturmovik too (in fact it's what turned me on to russian aircraft!). I think I will go google it! (zee aircraft is now available in fs2004 vintage page 75 it comes with another texture which is the aircraft thumbnail) I don't know how I did that roll! I went back later and tried again and it took me about an hour just too perfect a 100 foot role!
