[FSX] Autumn+Winter Replacement Textures (Europe)

Postby ATI_7500 » Fri Feb 09, 2007 3:54 pm

If you've got time and patience, slide over to Avsim and download the new replacement textures for autumn and winter in Europe made by Adam Mills. Just have a file search for his name.
The textures come in eight parts and "weigh" a nice 650MBytes altogether.

Sorry for the fugly pics.

Notes:

- The author might also do replacement textures for America
- Check out this thread for a little help with backing up the default files

All in all, it was totally worth the wait. No more deserts in Europe.

What was in the developers' minds when they created the default textures?
FSX world is based on the Sahara...  :o

well in places like the southern United States, things in the fall and winter turn brown and die, where say like the Northern United States, trees turn pretty colors (mostly orange , red (oak, maple) yellow (birch)and the grass stays green until the snow flies, sometimes at the end of October  :o
What do I do you ask? I struggle! Then destroy! Then try to put back together what I just broke on accident.....
