A very nice paintjob on a beautiful aircraft! A Hawker Hunter!

I've posted shots of this combo ages ago... thought it was time for some more

I've seen the real plane, what a disgusting thing to do to a great aircraft.  :'(

Considering the amount of airworthy Hunters still around today, I feel it's OK to have the odd 'novelty' scheme. There are plenty still flying in proper military colours.

You've got to admit, it's very well done.

What on earth is so bad about it?

Well, with the number of Hunters around (lots), and considering that it is a Mk58 (so never would have seen British markings), it is a nice alternative - and provides a different aircraft for airshow organisers to book, without a "warbird" colourscheme. The owner probably wouldn't have wanted RAF markings anyway - he's an ex-RN pilot, now businessman.

As the old saying goes, when you own an aeroplane, you can paint it what ever colour you like?

What a great registration too: G-PSST - a coconut for the answer! ;)

Work of art if you ask me, and so much nicer than grey/grey camo! :)

I really can't say that I like that paint :o :-/.  Looks horrible on that a/c in my opinion.  But nice shots nonetheless ;).

There certainly has been a huge gap of very few Hubter shots, Soui, but you've portrayed it in a fantastic light....a very different paintjob and a brilliant set of shots 8-) 8-)

Lovely paintjob, Hawker Hunter is one of those few aircraft that could carry almost any paintjob and look gorgeous.  Lovely shots Soui.

Very nice :)

Whats wrong with that paintjob? There are plenty out there in normal colours so why not a little bit of colour here and there? We see quite enough dark schemes from the RAF (do they know there's paint other than grey/black?) to allow for a little spirit on warbirds, since there are still plenty of camo Hunters around it's fine IMHO.
