Left Russia last week in search of a warmer climate.  So far routing has been SVO-WAW-ORY-MAD.  Todays flight got me 5000 miles closer to my final destination.  Took off from Madrid on one of Aeromexico's new 777-200s bound for Mexico City.  Cant say I like the new colors to much...that old bare metal looked so much better 8-)

Awaiting takeoff clearence.  Local time is aprox 14:45.  Pretty full load today of 250 passengers.

Climbing away.  Have a long flight ahead.

Cruising along at FL320...still to heavy to climb to our assigned altitude of 38,000

Somewhere over the Atlantic.

Sun begins to set while we remain at FL380.  Supper is just about to be served.

Decending into a cloud layer.  Will be arriving about an hour early tonight.

Last rays of light as we make our way down.  

Last shot.  Arrival to Mexico City was anything but fun.  Rough turbulence, dark, and visibility was down to 1/2 mile.  With 20 knot crosswind not helping anything we made one crusher of a landing.  Survived it with no damage.  Main gear may want to be checked before the next flight though

Next stop is LAX.  From there I shall not tell.  But final destination is definatly warm and sunny 8-)

hmmmmm warm sunny, well you could come visit me  ;D although its not really sunny we've had nonstop rain for the past week and they tell us were in a drought  ::) the waters so high i can swim to school  :D by the way very nice shots 2nd ones especially nice

Oooh! Pick me! Pick me! After LAX it is a short flight (for a 777) to Australia. Pass over Queensland at 30,000ft and start to descend into Sydney*.  ;D Great shots, I might add.

*Don't worry CSM, just messin with ya.

Destination has already been chosen.  All I'll say is its on the way to Austrailia.  And no its not New Zealand, though that was an option

Either that or Fuji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Tonga, Vanuatu, Palau, or the Federated States of Micronesia. Oh, and Papua New Guinea...?  ::)  :D
