IRL, I have been that steep and maybe a little more many times in Hughes 500's and Bell 206's. I have had a Hughes 500 in a 100+ degree bank more than once.

I love #1. Just be sure you don't crash the next time you do that.  :)

In IRL you probably would have been changed into a pile of smoking dust on the mauntain ;D

Read the reply I made above. I was a combat helo pilot in Vietnam. The angle in #1 is no problem as long as you don't hold it too long. I have even done it many times in a UH-1H while low level in mountainous terrain. I am not talking about models in FS, I am talking IRL..

Just my oppinion, but if you say so, then your probably right :).

Though i dont know how a 206 would handle, i should give the Adv206 a try and pull this off.

The correct way to lower the helo would be to keep the machine (its crew and pax) level while reducing power in a (more) controlled descent.

For those wanting more challenging slope activities, may I suggest FSX's Denali Rescue

P.S. Don't bother applying brakes . . . they don't work on ice

I've heard of a heli doing a full 360 degree flip.

The westland LYNX that must be. They can also go the fastest deu to a special blade design, its a great helo.
