No cell phones, no traffic, no clock to punch, just a secluded island with a sheltered lagoon as your landing strip and a cool tropical drink awaiting you in the dockside bar.

Actually, "nice shot" is spam in my book.

I would rather see someone giving me unbased, negative criticisms rather than "nice shot"...

Jeff
...atlest I would know how to avoid being badgered next time

I'm running FS2002 (that's all my current system can handle right now), with the scenery turned up as high as I can get without getting a herky jerky frame rate. The planes creator said it was for FS2002, any tips on improving things would be apreciated.

System Specs, please? Mine are undoubtadly worse.
Its about Art. I've taken more than a few stunners on my crappy computer (533MHz CPU, 126 Mbs RAM, 2 Mbs Graphic memory on my video card, etc....FS2002 (NOT FS2004 NOR FSX)...) ART is the Key, not system. I'd post one if I had time.
One thing to remember is that most FS2004 addons can be made to work in FS2002 with the correct tools. Try downloading and using MDLC (to convert models), DXTBmp (to modify alphachannels), and a good FD editor....
Try using scenery addons like REPro (an AWSOME freeware scenery texture upgrade) And most Lyons creations, including the Goose work almost flawlessly even unmodified!)
I ALSO have a very heavily tweaked FS2002.cfg file....Almost all FS2004 tweaks also work in FS2002.
In conclusion, upgrading your system or your sim is not needed nor necessary (although it IS recommended). Go to SOH and contact Guppanui there for more info on FS2002 performance issues.

Try first to make them 800x600 pixel or close, try to set your details resolution like texture render, add more things in the landscape ,if you want to shot a plane over the watter like this one try to show it in an angle of the watter to see a spot from the plane (looking the top of wing and fuse plus water, there are more beautiful add on planes in fs2002 this one its a little bit weird,I think the 95 % of the simplicity of the shot is that plane ,See right now is a fashioon of the reflexion of the water like this Of course this is the newest FS ,Im giving you and example of your idea ,but take alook the details and the angle of it

The angle show the reflexion of the water ,thats the idea ,if there wouln't have no reflex I would take a closer look of the plane in a 60 degree angle shot to spot the plane from an inclination.
Try to adjust a little bit your graphics post another shot ,and see use paint the hit Ctrl+W the reduce the size in 75 horizontal and 75 vertical, save as jpg you should have an image near of 800x600 see the size less than 100k and post it..

Thanks Alex,
A computer geek freind of mine helped me check my system, and we found some spyware and other nasty stuff that was gumming up the works some. This being fixed I was able to crank FS2K2 to the max. Amazing the number of buildings and other stuff that wasn't there at the setting I had the sim at! This also explains a lot of the mysterious mid air crack ups I'd experience over some cities; I was flying into "invisable" buildings! anyway, thanks again
