Wow... color. And shadows!!

I remember flying FS5 (?) with onboard gfx on a clunky old hp desktop...made this look like FSX.

But it was fun!! ;D

;D The good old times !

I remember, that I allways liked to fly that 172 RG, with the retractable black things it was moving on !

The profile less wings must be very good for flying very fast.

And the camel, not wasting any weight on a Pilot, engine or propeller.....

yeah I remember that one, and it only had like 10 airports.  My favorite was Moffett Field because I liked to fly through the hangers, but hey I was like 8 or something like that.  I also remember tring to land on the carrier with the cessna 182.

Try searching among abandonware sites. You can find up to FS95 there, only a click away. ;)

Ah FS5, or FS5.1 it looks like :)

That was probably my favorite version, as it was the first version of flight sim I flew.  The thing used to come with this big huge "pilots manual" that would keep the users reading and sniffing the book  :-[

The graphics can be turned up a little bit too.  I believe they made Meigs field somewhat photorealistic, and the buildings have like small black windows :)
