I think so too. But I would stress that virtually NO-ONE on this forum has the hardware to run FSX maxed out. And I suspect that when they do, those shots ( brilliant , though they are ) won't compare. In saying that, you have taken some cracking shots, mate. Well done.
I agree with your sentiments. I too will stick with FS9 until FSX is more viable to my needs and pocket.

The only reason I would get FSx is for the ground traffic at the airports and better ground textures, but other then that I will stay with FS9 because all of the payware will become freeware, an I have 500 addon planes in FS9 that I don't feel like good thourgh one by one to see what works and what doesn't.

By the way great shots too.

They are very nice, though I have to say (though an FS9 die-hard myself) that the best FSX shots I've seen (from Ramsa, Mobius etc) look way better.
Having said that, many of the FSX shots I've seen don't look so nice, and particularly the airports, which look like they were built in sandpits, look in many ways worse than FS9 default. I can't see the point of running a stuttery FSX that looks like hell when FS9 looks great and... runs. But everyone's saying that ;D
I would say FS9 is beautiful enough for me for now, (though FSX is tempting in the hands of a 'master'), and if there was no FSX until next Xmas when I might actually be able to run it acceptably, I wouldn't miss it.

I agree with you, I have not yet seen all that 2004 can do why should I change just to make Mr Gates that bit richer.
