From the nutter that did the easyJet repaint of a 747-400, nice one!

Wonder how many seats easyJet could cram into it? ;D

853 + 20 crew?
Funny, somehow it reminds me of the later PAN AM livery.
Nice shots!
Cheers,

Well I heard on the news about a week ago that an airline (forgot which one) was going to have standing room only on the planes.   That would probably be a cheep flight!

That's going down the drain as soon as the first passengers begin to sue for having received physical harm in the more... non bus-like moments of the flight. ::)

No, they are designing new seats that allow you to stand up but still be buckled in.

I wouldnt want to be on a standing flight, thats a heck of a long time to stand up

That's nothing. There was some joking speculation, sometime ago, on an italian forum, on the kind of passenger configuration would Alitalia adopt on a hypothetic A380 AZA.

The greater consensus spoke of about 1190 passenger seats + 10 for the crew. ;D

Well, that takes care of two dimensions... remains the third that's not being taken into account. After all airplanes fly in a three dimensional environment, not a two dimensional one like buses, trams and so on... not to add that planes move just a mite faster than said earth-bound vehicles.

I stand my ground. :P

That makes two of us. ::)

They wouldn't be used on long haul. I think the idea was thought up for short haul domestic flights where a lot of people need to be shifted. Such as in China.

Yeah Nigeria could use them to break their current fatality record for most people killed in a single air crash
