he he - yeah it was a rather short take off distance as you can see and it was tricky getting the F14 lined up as well. But I did it twice and managed it - just - both times without a cat.

No point trying to put wires and cat in just yet as the existing ones will almost certainly not work in FSX (3Wire certainly didn't). And in any case, landing in anything other than the Bell and the Trike is pretty impossible because the carriers as I've set em up anyway work like small boats and keep stopping, starting and turning.

Maybe someone else can try something like the sailing yacht as the base and see if they then go straighter and further - then maybe we might see the first FSX moving carrier landing  ;)

ahem...... I mean with a jet as I've already landed with the Bell and the Trike  8)

Very nice, and I would add "that was close"  ;D

I have two questions:
- what happens to your plane (parked on the deck) if the carrier makes a turn ? Does your plane turns as well ?

- This one I may have already asked, sorry for the double, I don't remember the answer: is there self shadowing on FS9 planes imported in FSX ?
