Great lighting on the first pic Immelman. Besides anti-aliasing (which I see you found where to adjust) try experimenting with the antroscopic filtering settings.  :)

i cant increase the anti aliasing because i cant find where to adjust it.  ive looked for instructions but my card is always different than the one that they are describing so it doesnt apply.  very irritating.
