4th Leg of my travels through the Caribbean. Taking my freshly painted (by yours truly) 8-102 from Bradshaw Intl, St. Kitts to the famous Princess Julianna Intl, St Marteen.

Rotating from Runway 9:

Passing over the small french colony of St. Barthelemy, (more familiarly known as St Barts.) Dutch/French colonies of St Martin/St. Marteen, visible to the northeast:

Taking the less familiar and more dangerous approach into Runway 27. Don't worry, Its only the angle... I didn't actually hit the tree (though I had to pick out some twigs and branches from my gear later on...) ;)

Touch down.... waaay left of the center... but near the numbers:;D

Clearing the runway, to let of my pax onto the lovely Juliana. Next stop later today: St. Croix, USVI....

Thnx for looking.... please don't leave without comments...:D

Lovely shots there Mouse! Really nice! You just have to love Princess Juliana at St. Maarten. And not only for the surreal approach, which you did not take ... I like the refreshing look of the approach on RWY 27.

Not many of you know but the airport was named after the monther of the Queen of The Netherlands, Queen Beatrix. Oviously here mother was called Juliana (gosh ...realy? ;D)
