Been Reading 'First Light'

So I had to dust off the old birds & get out & about over Kent. This the AH Hurricane with the (wartime) RAF Hawkinge scenery & AH Spitfire AI.

Very nice. To all of you with RAF ambitions - read "First Light" - it'll save you time later and is a darn good read... People like Geoffrey Wellum are few and far between...

Certainly is a good read, one of my fave quotes so far is when Geoff is being told by his instructor to be careful when flying into Netheravon for the first time:

'It's an FTS* but the navy have it, so anything can happen; just watch out for sailors in aircraft.'
