That chopper is soo weird to look at!
The rotors are moving and they aren't!

But cool shots

There was a good 2k2 panel for the Sea King Roger

Lovely set Roller! Was one the hi-speed seacat once when the Belgian Navy practised putting down a medic on it! Impressive stuff!

Thanks for looking guys. And for anyone who says they can't fly choppers, this one's worth a try because it's pretty stable and easy to fly.
There's definitely something funny about the contact points though and the scrape points as well because if you lean slightly to one side when you come into land as in the last pic you get sparks flying up from about 2 metres to one side of the aicraft!
The scenery is just the default Guernsey I think - I've got the Channel Islands Airports scenery addon but haven't installed it yet. In the background there's an AI Royal Navy Merlin that I've got flying out of there.
I corrected my own textures (RAF on the front, Royal Navy on the tail) but for anyone who hasn't got this Sea King yet, I see that there are some nice looking RAF Rescue textures for it here already on SimV. It's too good a model not to have - no VC but never mind.
BTW - don't worry about the rotors (see Theis's post). It's just that they turn at 'real' speed (you don't just get a wizzy blurred bitmap for the rotor) so the camera 'stops' them when you take a screenie

Very nice, I see these on a very regular basis (in that very scheme) operating out of RAF Boulmer (30 miles north)

That last one is terrific... I like big ugly yellow helicopters...
