Some of you will be pleased (Asher) and some will be sad (Theis) but after 32 years of service, the Grumman F14 'Tomcat' is gone. Here's my tribute to this classic interceptor that was WAY ahead of it's time.

BIG file but please be patient, it's worth it I think!

That video made me cry..  :'(
It was such a beautiful and handsome aircraft!
and i have only one thing to say..
Your tribute really put mine to shame..

But if you can, i would really like to download the video, so i can keep it as a memory of a aircraft, that really ruled the skies! :D

Cheers Theis

Even though I'm not a great fond lover of the F-14, that was a very emotional and moving video :'(

Well done Simon! :)

while a beautiful touching video :( it brought a tear to my eye  :'( and it had nothing to do with the tribute. It was because you didn't put more dramtic images in the video :-/.

What happened to those cloudy sunset shots. Should have had a frontal image of the tomcat riding above the clouds during a sunset. Then have the tomcat sweep its wings and pull into a tight G turn and forever disappearing into the clouds never to be seen again!  :'( now that is dramatic exit sutiable for a tomcat. Just like the way the topgun movie ended!  8)

And Simon: Where did you get the music?
I have searched and searched after the Top Gun anthem, but only found "Dangerzone."

If you can show me where you found it, I would be thankful. :)

Cheers Theis
