What I don't like about that scenery is that the sunlight is coming from one direction while the shadows are pointing at another direction.

LOL, for some reason tho when I look at those shadows and their placement it just fits the scenery or looks correct. I'm thinking then the shot was taken for this scenery the sun was pointed 90* top of the Island?

Shame you couldn't connect, and I couldn't get the WT server somehow... but it will happen sometime I'm sure. We WILL be aerially reunited!

I may be wrong, Katahu, but I think SkyNoz is right. The shadows are created by the mesh, not painted on I believe, and it was midday when I was flying.

I must admit I haven't been paying much attention to shadows, just drinking in the a$$-kicking awesomeness of the scenery. Next time I'll check it out. Autogen houses and trees are definately there, which is great.
