#1, if that is really a lightning strike hitting #1 engine, can't happen, except if your static wips aren't clear or are iced by not doing a full walk-around

#2, Your #2 eninge, should provide enought hydrolic power to support your main gear down

#3, "Mayday", "Mayday" lol. if you called a Emergency ...etc. that's all you needed to say , (as real aviation goes)

#4 you landed on the runway, but I would have taken her in the gras , (beside the runway) to not cause any of the Internal Fuel tanks to catch fire.

#5 Number #2 engine was still running, Cut it. The baron has a reasonable Glid decent.

I can go on and on about safety but you get the picture... ;D

I think a "pan-pan-pan" might have been in order here?
Pan-pan indicates urgency whereas mayday indicates distress.

As the French term "panne" nominally refers to a mechanical failure or breakdown of any kind, the call has been used in aviation during urgent emergency landing requests such as that sent as a result of the electrical fire which was to destroy Swissair Flight 111.  :)

Anyways, I admit I dont know too much about it, never been in an actual emergency. ;)

Nice shots, too, especially the one "ON FINAL"...  :)

Certainly a pan for the first emergency. The second, would get me worried... The third would mean i'd be landing single engined with no undercarriage an restricted controls...

...I think i'd upgrade to a Mayday at that point. ;D

Oh well... I guess I will delete the thread, what a waste of my time

Don't delete it...just start a new thread in the Payware Screens Forum...you could leave a small note linking the Post to here...like "Check out my new effects" or something similar ;)
