Flight of the Belfast Clipper

After being found dismantled in a forgotten hanger, a mighty Boeing Clipper flies again after a long restoration by dedicated volunteers:

Shortly after departure from Bangor's seaplane base.

Arrival in New York and awaiting the first visitors. The aircraft will probably not remain in this bare metal scheme for long as the job of keeping the massive bird polished would prove too labor intensive.

Can anyone direct me to where I could find some good color reference photos of an actual clipper in the Pan Am scheme to use in a repaint? ???

Do any real examples of these planes still exist? I think there was one in the Smithsonion's Air and Space Museum, but I could be mistaken. Just think if one was still around and flying, what a great Air show attraction, especially here in Chicago where we have the lakefront air and water show each year. ;D
