But is the spit still FIGHTING? Serving its purpose?  The DC-3 is, and plus, the DC-3 is still older.  I respect the spit and its greatness, but lets face it, the Dakota is the greatest plane of all time.

But if yopu but the spit up against the Eurofighter then....

If the two are in a dogfight, and the Eurofighter fires and misses on the first flyby, the Spit's won - the Typhoon would keep overshooting the battle.
