GeeBee snaps

Postby SkyNoz » Sat Mar 04, 2006 6:50 pm

Downloaded this lovely aircraft Geebee Z, very fast and graceful, departed from kpwt and did short VFR flight to a unknown airport. The only problem I see with this aircraft is the tail wheel or skid is not turnable, which can be a problem. Well here's the shot's.

Great pics!
I got the GeeBee a couple of days ago.

The only problem is that it's actually too easy to fly.
By all reports, the GesBees were absolutely treacherous particulary on take offs and landings.
They were built for speed..... period.  Basically they were just a radial with wings!

However, it is stiil a great and much aprieciated effort that is fun to fly. :)

While flying it, I had a thought.
With FSX comming an its reported much improved native multiplayer capabilitys, I hope we can eventually now have easily set up

I swear to god that is the Pureflight Simulations GeeBee-Z, and since they haven't made it freeware, it's illegal!!

It isn't Ecko - look on the purflightsite (picture of cockpit/VC) and look back here (shot from VC looking at panel). Next to the compass is what looks like a notebook, and on the pureflight site there's a pic of a girl there. ;)

Hi Ecko
Im the author and Yes its all my own work :)
Im tickled pink you think they are the same aircraft
I used their screen shots to possie the gauges and to get a feel for the VC as there isnt a lot of refrence material around

There will be a full ver comming out soon (which will of course be uplaoded here) with any fixs that may be needed and some fun textures
Thanks for all the feedback

For myself, I'm quite surprised how much it looks like the payware one!  Wow!  Hats off to you Wozza!

Any chance of a repaint kit?
