Utter Madness! Test Flying the B707....

Postby congo » Sat Mar 04, 2006 4:46 pm

The FS9 default scenery has a block of dry land just East of Fraser Island off the Queensland coast. I got sick of seeing it, so I decided to mutate it into a secret testing site for B707 airfiles.

"Utter Madness" is quite fitting.

I think Moses would be proud.

Maybe I could upload it, but I need to figure out how to plonk some airstrips on the water mountains, and get some deeper into the ground, er, I mean water. I can't seem to set the elevation of the individual runways.

I must say, Congo, I myself would love to have that scenery :D

As for setting the elveation of the runways, you're using AFCAD right? If so, you should be able to double click on the runways and set altitude. ;)

You should have little sections to that! A long winding course with a huge runway for all the heavies, a smaller, tighter course for fast jets/warbirds etc, and a really small course for sport aircraft, so you can test your skills in each!

Kind of like "The Aircraft Training Arena"? (Just an idea I came up with :D)
