Look Mum, No Motor!

Thanks to Fitter, I found this cool scenery and couldn't wait to fly there, so here are some screenshots.

DECISION HEIGHT - Committed to the circuit, Doing my downwind checks, radio call and checking for a clear deck. This circuit is flown at 55kts in no wind on most modern sailplane types. It's time to get that wheel down.......

FINAL TURN - Any closer than this and you cramp your circuit, often resulting in a "less than perfect" landing. In a sailplane, timing is dependant on height and conditions. Circuits close to the strip are standard and leave less room for error or chance.

Impressive shots and landscape as well Congo. I particularly love Jesenicko as the best place to fly with a GA aircraft or a glider....I have noticed some differents trees in your shot...or am I wrong? Beautiful and sharp images...but there's one thing I think you can Improve...the clouds....Why dont you try realclouds3.zip or FS Skyworld and perfect sky?
Anyway the best series of today's post here in the freeware section 8)

I haven't gotten around to doing my scenery yet, (with the exception of this pack and replacement autogen trees), I've been re-installing FS9 for a seemed eternity and I'm still not halfway thru my hangar

Thanks, glad you liked the scenery.

I want my whole sim world to look this good!

I was getting around 50-60 fps in the scenery, right up next to it and all around, it seemed very good on my system, which has an average graphics card.

Here is the website that's hosting the file. Is it ok to refer links like this here?

Excellent pics!

One of the things I'm hoping for with FSX is better sailplane support with more realistic thermal generation and a default launch/tow sys.
Home airports are KMGJ and KSWF in Orange County, NY
Stop by and say hello. :)
