I Bought LOMAC, And All I Got Was This Lousy AB..

No seriously great game, if you count out the afterburner effects..


I haven't posted any shots for about 2, maybe 3 months, and the last time I entered the screenshot contest was back in November!
So I felt like sharing some shots, and since FS9 isn't running due to a twitchy soundcard, became some LOMAC shots.

I think I'll take some action (combat) shots later on, and post them too, cause the missile effects are so lovely!!

Those are some crisp, clean shots!  Great job!

And if you want a new afterburner effect, you can download "Modman" then there are new afterburner effects that look alot better, along with lots of other mods you can download.

On my rig (P4 3.4 GHz, 2048 Mb PC3200 RAM, GeForce 6800 GT 256 MB) it runs maxed out, which is also the settings used for these shots, at around 40-50 FPS.

I've never tried it on low-end machine, so I can't tell how it'll perform there..

Yeah, that shot doesn't look nearly as good as it does in-game.  I had even heard talk of implementing a new afterburner that would move and look more realistic, but I haven't really heard much recently, so I doubt it would happen.

I had LOMAC before I tried FS9 (inconsistent performance).

After I got into FS9, I had little or no interest in LOMAC...

You should take good care of your canopy perspex. You have to look out of it.
