Short Hop to Skykomish State
Posted: Sun Feb 05, 2006 6:02 pmAfter a couple days of trying and failing to fly to Skykomish state airport due to IFR conditions in the mountains, and the windstorm Washington had yesterday, the weather cleared up.
Sitting at Harvey Field, Snohomish, WA. It's a lovely day for flying
Flying over the Cascade footihills. There are still low couds towards the mountains, so I don't have my hopes up too high, but you never know.
Besides a few low clouds, looks good so far...
It shouldn't be too far ahead
It should be right around the....Ahh..There it is....
It's a nice quiet airstrip in the mountains
Will definently visit this airfield again.
Keep an eye out for the really fun flying to start
