FSDZigns Lockheed Connie.  Maybe the connie is most gracious bird that ever crossed the skies. I think it's a lovely design and I enjoyed seeing the real deal two years ago. Hopefully I'll see her fly somewhere this year.

For now I'll have to do with the Fs version

Couldn't agree with you more Soui. If we had to pick one aircraft that best represented the style and marvel of aviation since it beginning, it might very well be the Connie. Beautifully modelled in this great, great set of pics. Nice touch...and tribute Soui.

And Ivan this model is for fs9 standards quite old already.. Many are still waiting for A VC for one... I definitely would like more variations of this fantastic design

My dad flew in a Connie when he was in the USAF and heading fo Turkey... boy, that was a long time ago! His ride wasn't all that comfortable, as they had "sling seats" for the military birds, but he still loves the old Connie. Says it's the most beautiful plane he's ever seen.

I'm having a bit of trouble with my FS Connie though. She wants to lose power on all four engines at one time. I can ususally get her fired back up once, but then she'll quit again in a few minutes and never start again. Granted, this has given me opportunities to practice power-off emergency landings, but I'd sure like to complete a long flight in that bird.

Also, when I've tried to run Connies for AI, they never turn. If you're at the departure airport, they take off and keep going straight. If you're at the arriving airport, they flight right on past.

Anybody else having these troubles?

still one of the best fs9 models, I prefer the TWA textures personaly (although this been a european flight they would be inapropriate).  Your shots rearly capture the grace of that bird.  Have you considered replacing the default ms sun? it's a blot on your otherwise great screenies.

Although the Connie is a remarkable aircraft I just can't think it's THAT good looking. I think it's the way the fuselage expands in the middle making it look humped and a little whale like.

More 'stylish' i'd say but still lovely to look at nevertheless.

As for the engines cutting out on FS9, that's happened to me. Remember this is a very good flight model so be a pilot and Watch your gauges! I realised I was at the usual 'lazy full throttle' and they'd over heated. After coasting down for a few thousand feet, they where able to fire up again. Not many FS9 models give you that level of realism!
