Best Of The Best: Heavies...Winner!
It's official. There was great interest in the "Heavies" category, substantiated by the large number of us that voted. The result was what I had suspected right from the start...The Antonov 225 was the winner by a fairly comfortable margin. One of the more interesting statistics in this round was the fact that KDSM's "wicked witch ex-wife on her broom" actually garnered more votes than the C-17....
So there we have it, the beautiful mammoth they call Antonov 225 is Sim'v's choice as the "Best Of The Best"

I thought the MD11 deserved it more mind, if you're talking about looks, surely the best. Good to see such support for the old VC10, not that big by today's standards but at the time was one of the largest airliners flying and certainly the fastest. (pre 747 of course)
