Round Bermuda (with FSX features!!)
Posted: Fri Jan 27, 2006 10:43 pmFrom the cover disk of PC Pilot magazine this month, a rather nice scenery package that completely remaps the island of Bermuda. What better plane to go exploring with than a Maule amphibian?
Feel the warm air! Lots has been added to the island, from a new mesh and landclass up. Flying past some lucky peeps on a cruise,
At the end of the harbour, a tug get's ready to tow a rubbish barge out to sea. BUT WAIT! What's that? BIRDS! Well I never, there's us getting all exited about FSX having birds and here are some in good old FS9! They're animated too in a reasonably convincing fashion, changing height and direction every now and then as they buzz round the barge looking for scraps. Certainly added to the atmosphere.
Enough of the birds, don't want to ruin my prop! There's the airport and i'm getting low on fuel. Don't want to land yet though,
Hang on, that'll do nicely. A quay side refueling depot,
'OI! Fill 'er up!'
Well, getting dark, better find the airport.
Good job that lighthouse is near the end of the runway, didn't want to end up in 'The Triangle'!
It's a nice little addon this with plenty on the water as well. You can even activate an AI ferry service that will leave at regular intervals. Hope you liked it, comments welcome......
