Painting the iFly 747-400 as we speak...

Yes anyways, im 3/4 of the way through, just got the rear section and the engines to go, should be quick.

Rolled her out for the first time to get an idea of what it would look like, because:

Tail texture = 90% Photoreal
British Airways text+ Logo = 80% real

Here is a piccy of progress so far, nearing dusk at LHR, ready for a long flight (not quite

)..

Im also thinking of doing the "chelsea rose" variation of the paintscheme, I like that one a lot...

Anyways, back to painting.

If you really want to paint, Killerbunny pointed me to some really good sites and tips, thats where I got started.

So its pretty much finished. Just discovered the gearwells are still "naked", gotta give them a blue coat. ;)

Chealsea Rose is my favorite too...gonna be a big PITA to paint though...I dunno...I've never painted before

Yes indeed it very likely will be... but its just the tail so I should be able to do it in not too long a while...

That is if I find a good photo of the Chelsea Rose tail. :)

because I made my textures DXT3, they make the iFly considerably better on frames as well.
Just though you might like that. Here are some more pics...

Also, im thinking to paint that disgusting red carpet in the VC brown as it should be. ;)
