Intercity in an ATR-72

Postby simonmd » Mon Jan 09, 2006 2:45 pm

Here's something that will please anyone wanting a more 'realistic' flight. The ATR72-500 by R. Sanchez-Castaner.

This AC has a very realistic panel and overhead and has such features as power management for the props depending on whether you are climbing or at cruise, etc. The AutoPilot takes some getting used to as well as it's not as straightforward as most other stuff. Outside the model is good with airstairs and cargo door and the props are beautifully modeled with very realistic animation. To top it off, a great sound file as well that I can testify to as I flew on a similar 42-300 earlier in the year from Glasgow Prestwick back to S Wales. (Anyone know of or can do an 'Air Wales' repaint?)

The model is great and very enjoyable... the paint rather questionable!  ;D

This is the same model... better paint though!

YUMMY!!!

Did you do the BA paint yourself?

Excellent shots! All of them!

Yes, the Eurowings livery is the default one that came with it. Where can I get that BA paint? Looks great!

Are you sure the BA one pictured is not the payware Flight1 ATR72? I've searched all the net's main FS archives and could only find a blurry paint like my own Eurowings livery.
