Hi all,

Just decided to download one of the Supermarine Napier's from the Schneider Races & take it for a quick spin - one of the ATT camps needed some supplies, but unfortunately all I could fit in this bird was a tin of beans.

Oh well - some you win, some you lose.

Just 'stashing' my tin of beans somewhere safe - as you can see, the bread was already on it's way in the Cub behind me :


& away we go, fast food has never been so much fun - McDonalds Happy Meal - pah!!:

Not far to go now, just over that hill. I think I can safely presume that I beat the the bread getting here :


Surprise Surprise - not a loaf in site, but then the Napier does fly 3x faster than a Cub on floats:


I'm just hoping that the Napier can almost stop like a Cub on floats:

I guess i'll just wait here for the bread to arrive seeing as I haven't had lunch myself yet.  8)

Well, that makes my case.  Those are nice pictures of the floater, but the water, at close range - especially when using float planes is crappy - and I am a float plane enthusiast.  I have tried, without success to find water textures for float planes.  Anyone who does, please let me know

Let me know aswell - 90% of my flights are in float planes & like splash said - the textures at close range lose a lot.

An odd looking aircraft
