Spending some time with the DC-3
No matter how many planes I download, the good old default Dak still remains one of my top favourites. The external model is nearly flawless, it has an excellent VC, and a plethora of nice liveries to download. Add to that its sheer fun factor and classic charm, and you have one awesome aircraft. I decided that I'd take some time off from flying the big jets and enjoy a nice relaxing cruise over Quebec in the default DC-3.
That bare metal livery was actually a repaint kit I downloaded to make a few new repaints. Of course, I ended up liking the bare metal look so much that I left it as is (adding only the red prop warning stripe on the side).
In order to make the shots look a bit better, I upped my settings a bit. It made for some good to mediocre framerates (averaging about 17 or so FPS, with a few sporadic dips to 6). A little troublesome, but I'm used to it by now...
