Ok so i did a flight out to Cork Airfield in the A320-200 for British Airway Virtual and i had a mishap on landing  The visibility was so low you couldent see another aircraft untill 5 min after it hit you. so heres the pics :

Starts good had autobrake set to 1 for landing
Image

Really low vis  used autoland all the way down
Image

Then it hit me the runway was only 6900 ft long! :o  (look at my speed)
Image

Finally was able to stop   about 100 yards from nearest trees on the sides    front of runway was clear for another mile
Image

In the end i filed my PRIEP and apoligised to my passengers.  Moral of the story: look at the lenth of the ruway. OR ELCE

It seems this A320 suffered a pilot thinking it was an SUV....or it crashed.... maybe we should have told him too......

Still, great shots BAW, what sort of speed did you touchdown?

You must have not used a high auto- brake or a high landing speed to miss that runway.

I am assumin you are using the autoland by Microlight? I tried it. It was very good, but you need to have to get it set up way out and be at the right height etc.

default autoland and i was REALLY surprised i landed  it was obviosly bumpy but i survived.  I landed around normal speeds i just had my autobrake set at 1 and no reverse thrust (untll i saw the end of the runway  ;) )  i all of a sudden realised i wont see then end of the runway soon enough then will it happend like that and i kicked every sort of drag i could to stop

should have been on full reverse, full spoilers, max auto brake as soon as you touched down! Better luck next time!
