I went window shopping for something unique and came across this bizarre bird. I will post a pic of it tomorrow night, but I am putting this little quiz out there to see if anyone can figure out what it is that I am flying.

What flies at over 3899 kias in stabilized flight. Manuevers like an f15 eagle, but looks like something out of a Robotech anime show?

hint: Its an old download dug up and altered a bit by myself (mainly the soundfile (gave it Real F18 sound)

Super Sylph or the Valkyre...Both are from anime shows

Here she is, the winner is Souichiro for guessing the super sylph! It was actually himself who posted a pic of this machine a couple of months back! I downloaded it and got turned off by its cheezy looking afterburner nozzle. But with the knowledge of how to edit aircrafts, I will try to add afterburner effects to this aircraft to cover those cartoon drawn exhaust ports!



actually overspeed is met at 1,400 kias and you can maintain the aircraft upwards of 2,600 kias (with out sudden turns), But at around 2,800 kias the camera goes bonkers because it can't keep up with the aircraft and the fighter takes off to 3,400 Kias.

You can edit the Aircraft.cfg to change the overspeed mark.

don't know if that will help the stability issue at high speeds. Besides its easy to recover this aircraft by hitting the airbrakes and cutting the throttle to 0.

The only problem is landing the aircraft. The landing part is easy, but stopping is the hard part!  ;D Gotta cut the engines off as soon as you land and hit the brakes to bring it to a stop!
